Kaleidoscope Faces can paint anyone from 2 to 102, but without prejudice are unable to paint, any one who does not wish to be painted, anyone with apparent skin conditions, such as eczema, conjunctivitis. chicken pox, rashes, cuts and any person who appears unwell (please note this is not an exhaustive list)
Parents/Guardians must inform us if there is any reason why a child should not have their face painted and in this circumstance we will usually offer a suitable alternative such as an arm or hand design, so as not to disappoint. We will need to be informed in advance if a child has sensitive skin so that a skin test may be carried out on the inside of the child's arm,if there is no adverse reaction, we will offer a face paint.
Children remain the responsibility of parents/ guardians whilst in the painting area and must not be left unattended.
We use only good quality professional paints that are EEC compliant and poly- glitters safe for cosmetic use. Our paints are water based an d they have anti-bacterial/hypo-allergenic properties and are specifically for use on the face.
Our paints are easily removed at home with soap and water.
Kaleidoscope Faces endeavours to be as careful as possible when painting, however arms and jumper sleeves do tend to be rubbed against children's faces, which can leave a residue of paint on children's clothing. Face paints can be removed from clothes with soap and water.
Kaleidoscope Faces, regularly rinses brushes whilst in use, changes water frequently and uses one clean sponge per child.
